The Migration Centre is a step-by-step wizard for businesses moving to ProBooks from another accounting program. It is entirely in Albanian. The wizard is done once; if it needs to be reopened later, that happens only with the platform administrator’s approval. It is for owners and accountants who want to bring their old data across in good order, without starting the books from zero.
The wizard takes you through steps in sequence. In the chart-of-accounts step, the old program’s accounts are mapped onto the ProBooks chart of accounts, so each one lands in the right place. Items and clients come next. Finally, the opening stock is entered and reconciled with the books, so quantities and values agree. If you have no data for a step, you can skip it and carry on.
Switching programs is usually the moment errors creep in: accounts placed wrongly, stock that does not match the accounts, duplicated clients. A guided path with a clear order reduces those risks. Reconciling the opening stock with the books means you start with correct balances, and because the wizard is done once, the migration is protected from accidental changes later on.
